Orezone Gold Corporation (TSX: ORE ASX: ORE OTCQX: ORZCF) is a growth-focused gold producer led by a seasoned team of industry professionals. In late 2022, the company successfully achieved commercial production at its flagship Bomboré Gold Mine, delivering this milestone on time and under budget, while meeting production guidance in its first two years.
Currently, Orezone is advancing the Stage 1 hard rock expansion at Bomboré, which will boost production by 45%. Construction of the expansion is nearing completion, with first gold from the hard rock plant imminent. Following this, the company plans to fund the Bomboré Stage 2 expansion through cash flow, increasing total annual production to 220,000-250,000 oz.
In addition to production growth, Orezone has launched a multi-year exploration campaign at Bomboré, which features a 2.4 million-ounce reserve base along a 14km strike length, with mineralization extending to an average depth of less than 40m. Recent drilling has intersected broad widths of high-grade mineralization down to 340m, and the company aims to increase the total global resource from 5.13 million ounces to a target of 7-10 million ounces.
