Midnight Sun is rapidly advancing the Solwezi Copper Project, with a focus on our flagship Dumbwa Deposit. The Project is located near the town of Solwezi in the heart of the Zambia–Congo Copperbelt, the world’s second-largest copper-producing region. This prolific mining district is renowned for hosting multiple major copper deposits, and benefits from excellent infrastructure, an established mining workforce, and a long history of successful production.
The Solwezi Copper Project is surrounded by producing copper mines, including the geologically similar Lumwana Mine just west of our project and First Quantum’s Kansanshi Mine, Africa’s largest copper mining complex, approximately 6 kilometres east of the company’s recently announced Kazhiba Oxide Resource. This highly favourable location highlights the district-scale potential of Midnight Sun’s land package.
The Dumbwa Deposit sits beneath a robust 20-kilometre copper-in-soil anomaly peaking at 0.73% copper at surface, and ongoing drilling has already delineated 4 kilometres of drilled strike extent. The company is targeting +1 billion tonnes at 0.5% copper at Dumbwa. The Dumbwa Deposit bares strong geological similarities to the nearby Lumwana deposit, underscoring its potential to be the Domes Region’s newest major copper deposit. The company is currently employing 5 drill rigs, and averaging 10,000 metres drilled per month, expecting to reach 12 kilometres of initial drilled strike extent by the end of 2026.
Led by an experienced geological team with a proven track record of major discoveries in the Zambia–Congo Copperbelt and globally, Midnight Sun’s goal is to deliver Zambia’s next generational copper deposit, when the world needs it most.

What are your key goals for the next 3, 6 and 12 months?
3 Months
Drilling with First Quantum - Goal is to define oxide copper resources via drill programs on two of our licenses, with near-surface oxide copper destined for First Quantum's Kansanshi Mine (Africa's largest copper producer).
6 Months
KoBold Metals kick off drilling at Dumbwa, a tier-one target for a stratabound copper deposit. With results from both drill programs flowing, we aim to begin planning both following phases for oxide copper and KoBold's continued exploration work as part of their $15.5M earn-in agreement.
12 Months
• Ongoing methodical drilling on our flagship Dumbwa Deposit for next 12 months.
• Drill results throughout year ahead.
• 5 drill rigs spinning, averaging 10,000 metres drilled per month.
• Goal to establish first 11.5 km of strike length, or first half of Dumbwa by Q4 2026.
• Sale of Kazhiba Main Oxide Copper Deposit
What do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?
Midnight Sun is in the midst of delineating a brand new large-scale deposit in the heart of the Domes Region — the top global location for copper exploration today. It The region is a hotbed of activity with major players actively looking for a new major discovery, and we are surrounded by the 5 biggest copper mines in Africa. Early geological results indicate our flagship Dumbwa Deposit has the potential to be the next major deposit in the region. Our aggressive yet methodical approach to drilling means we will know the extents of the initial 12km of Dumbwa by the end of 2026. That leaves us ready to attack the northern half of the deposit in 2027. We are on the path to delivering a brand new major copper deposit, at times of unprecedented copper supply shortage and global demand, in short, when the world needs it most.
